WhatsApp not opening on my iPhone 6

Hello, I know WhatsApp is gonna stop working on iPhone 6 from the 5th of May, but it is not opening for me now as well. I updated it to the latest version and it started crashing. Please help, My whatsapp back up is in that phone.

whatsapp crashing in Iphone 15 promax I bought new iPhone 15 Promax two weeks ago and transferred the WhatsApp from the old Iphone7plus to the new one. Since then whatsapp keeps crashing and messages that are not backed up went missing. I deleted the app restarted the phone and reinstalled the whatsapp from apple store. The reloaded the backed up messages. It crashes when I reload. I contacted whatsapp help centre. They said it out their scope of help they can provide. Went to apple store to ask if they can fix it. They reported no other person has reported this and that I should wait for software update from either apple or whatsapp. What should I be doing? What did I do wrong.

iPhone 15 Pro Max WhatsApp files blank after iOS 18.1 update Hello Apple Community, I’m experiencing an issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max after updating to iOS 18.1. Since the update, I am unable to open any media files (photos, videos, and documents) within WhatsApp chat rooms. The files appear in the chats, but whenever I try to open them, nothing happens. My phone has plenty of available storage, and the internet connection is stable. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Clearing the WhatsApp cache and restarting the phone. Deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp from the App Store. Checking WhatsApp permissions to ensure it has access to storage. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue after updating to iOS 18.1 on the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated to help me access my WhatsApp files again. Please contact WhatsApp support for assistance with their apps. The only thing I can suggest is restarting your iPhone. Deleting the app and downloading a new copy from Apple App Store. Sorry!
