iPhone 16 Pro locked up during 18.1 to 18.2 update

iPhone 16 Pro locked up during verification of update 18.1 to 18.2. Status bar not moving after 1 hour of wait.

I have tried update and restore and no change. Status bar start on screen then freezes.

Everything appeared to go well until it starting verifying the update, then the status bar stopped progressing. I attempted to restart procedure 2. I then resorted to Restore phone option. No change. Totally locked up/frozen after 17.2.1 upgrade Upgraded today (1/12/24) to ios17.2.1 on an iPhone 15. Totally locked up. Even a hard rest results in a frozen screen.

iPhone 16 Pro stuck on Hello screen during setup I just got a new iPhone 16 pro and I was setting it up and the iOS was updating. When updating, it was stuck at the end, I turned it off, and now it is stuck on the hello screen. When I swipe up, the password screen will show for less then a second then go back. When I try to hard restart it, it does the same thing. I am wondering what I can do to fix this. Do I need to just leave it? Do I need to let it die and then try charging it? Or do I need to bring it to my provider? [Re-Titled By Moderator]

iOS 18.2 is no longer current, and Apple stopped signing it (meaning upgrading to it is no longer possible) on January 13.

Obtain the latest release from Apple.
