How can I enable Multilingual Auto-Correction on my iPhone?

My iphone is set to the english language, yet I happen to text in german very often. Altough I enjoy the auto correction, with every german sentence the auto correction is unberable and gets on my nerve. Is there no option to include both languages in auto correction?

Are you typing German with a separate German keyboard which you have added in settings > keyboard > keyboards? That is what is normally needed to have proper German autocorrection. Does that not work right?

Are you typing with one of Apple's new (in ios 18) bilingual keyboards (called, for example, Engllsh & German)? If not, you might want to try it. If yes, but it is messing up, you should try going back to monolingual separate keyboards. See
