Changing incorrect billing address for Apple online orders

my default billing address when i buy from the online store is old an one. didn’t notice this mistake when making my last couple orders, one, a charger, arrived months ago but my macbook is on the way. i don’t know what difference it makes that the billing address is wrong but am i able to change it on my macbook now as the order hasn’t come yet? or is this just something i’ll have to just make sure is right the next time i order from apple? what difference does it make that the billing address is wrong?

looking at it now, i went to test checkout and i don’t even see a place where it asks for a billing address? hence why i’ve only noticed its wrong after getting my invoice. and i went to my apple store account and no billing address seems to be attached. and other invoices like itunes or apps seem to have the correct billing address, so i don’t get where it’s pulling this old address from…?

i’d obviously like to fix this but my immediate thought is that i hope it doesn’t effect anything with my macbook order, they won’t send anything to the old address will they? the shipping address is correct of course i know the macbook will go there but idk what they do with billing address
