Incorrect email address for app downloads on iPhone SE

I updated my email address online here but when I upload an app on my iphone SE it shows my old email address. Not sure where else I need to update my email address? It seems many companies are lax with these email updates and with this other company I think it poses a security threat since they send emails to old address where it automatically signs you in and access to account information. No wonder everyone is getting hacked over and over again.

Sorry, but it is not clear what you are seeing or where you are seeing it. A screenshot may be helpful if it does not reveal your email address.

Changing your primary email address on your Apple Account is done here, but not sure if that is what you meant by updating it online here.

Change your Apple Account primary email address - Apple Support

If you meant updating the Additional Email addressing online, such as seen here, that does not affect emails going to your Primary Apple ID email address, notifications can go to those Additional Email addresses.

About your Apple Account email addresses - Apple Support

The Apple ID email address used for purchases of apps is at Settings > [name on top] > Media & Purchases and can be different than your primary Apple ID.
Not sure what you are referring to when "they send emails to old address where it automatically signs you in and access to account information". Are you referring to an Apple email or from another company?

Thank you Jim for your quick response. Online and in my iphone SE I have my new email address stored. However, when I actually download a free app during that process it flashes my old email address. I was surprised to see this. In order to explain the steps I just downloaded another app and now it shows the new email address. I am not sure why that is now. Thanks for listening.

I also don't do emails on my iphone. I didn't imagine this so there must be some glitch somewhere. The fact I had to come here and look for answers and sign in and sign in again maybe that did something?
