No, that was a rarity. Usually banks to one or at the most two bulk transfers a day. You may have just caught the transfer before it was sent and on a slow transfer day, it went straight through.
Another possibility is your credit union saw the transfer coming and advanced you the sum of the transfer because Monday is a holiday and transfers will not move.
