Log in to gmail.com on your computer. This is to log in to google. If you go to Google’s help page it will have alternate solutions for getting verified.
Hi Lawrence, thanks for your note. That's not what seems to be happening. When logging into my phone I am receiving a dialogue that is offering to send to my email a six digit code for verification. The problem is I'm not able to log into my email to view whatever it is that they may be sending me. Is there something obvious I'm overlooking?
Responding to my own email, it seems this is a Google issue. I posted some thing on their community board as well. But if anyone here can help it would sure be appreciated!
Bought new iPhone 16 today, everything migrated over nicely. Came home to set up my email account and Google said it was sending verification code to my email address to continue 2-factor login process. How to receive the code when I can't receive email in the first place?
Dragged out an old iPad and looked at my inbox there. Even more confusingly, there were recent emails in the inbox, but nothing from Google.
When I look at settings on my new iPhone, I confirmed that the old device I ended over at the Apple Store this afternoon was no longer there, no longer logged-in. New iPhone works otherwise as expected in terms of calling, texting, etc.
Why am I not receiving the emails from Google with the verification code?
Is there any way to proceed without this two factor verification code?
is there anything more efficient than just posting this on the Google community which may get back to me "within 24 hours"?
