Printer drivers for Mac Air M3, OS 15.2?

I am moving most of my work from a 2016 Mac Pro to a Mac Air with M3 chip and OS 15.2. Having trouble with my old HP printer and HP does not offer Mac drivers fro 15.2. I also suspect my printer is too old to use with the new box. Any suggestions on printers with drivers suitable for 15.2?

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Printer printer apparently supports AirPrint, which means no vendor drivers are needed. AirPrint can be used wirelessly, and also when the printer is connected via wired Ethernet.

Here is how to: Print wirelessly from your Mac to your printer - Apple Support

There is a firmware update for that printer, from last month. (Link) You will want to apply that firmware update, if not already loaded.

To load the new firmware, connect to the embedded webserver within the printer, and perform the update there.

See page 29 in the manual: https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06291142.pdf

Whatever printer you select, you will want one with AirPrint support, and preferably also IPP/IPPS printing support. Some other considerations: Which Printer Should I Buy? - Apple Community

The last HP printer rolled out of here a while back. Brother is (also) locally preferred.

My sincere suggestion is to never buy a printer from HP. They are consumer nightmares for many reasons.

Brother laser printers are exceptionally reliable and consumer friendly devices. Simply take it out of the box, plug it in, join it to the network, and it will appear in your print center. That's how a quality printer should work with your Mac.
