—Was this a question you had asked, or another's you had answered or were "following?"
—Did you use the Filter function in My Subscriptions to change the "Recent Activity" options from the default of "Following" to either "Authored" or "Participated?" That change sometimes makes posts easier to find:
— What was the subject of the post you made? If you authored it and it was removed for cause, you get an email from the moderation team telling you why. It goes to the email address associated with your log-in here. However, if you answered another's post and that user's post was deleted, you don't get the email.
