I am reaching out regarding my MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017). The keyboard on my device has an issue where some keys are no longer functioning.

Here are my questions:

How much would it cost to repair the keyboard?
Is it possible to trade in this MacBook Air as part of the payment for purchasing a new MacBook?

I am traveling soon and need to decide whether to bring the laptop with me. Any details about repair costs, trade-in value, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The 2017 MacBook Pro is now considered "vintage" by Apple, meaning that service and parts may no longer be available in your country. Contact Apple Support or an authorized Apple service provider and inquire as to availability of service and repair costs.

Trade-in value will almost certainly be zero, but you can check here, if you're in the US (otherwise see the equivalent page for your country):
