iMessage chat glitch on iPhone 11

hi! since october 2024 me and my friend are experiencing the same issue with our imessage chat. when i try to open the chat my whole imessage app glitches and i'm unable to do anything, i can't even delete the chat. my friend is having the same problem and all of our other chats are just fine. we both have an iphone 11 and the newest update. the last message she sent me were some photos which don't even show. is there any way to fix this issue?
