How can I recover deleted Voice Memos on my iPhone?

So, I just did something silly or really really bad.

I needed to transfer some files from my Apple Watch to my iPhone, the files wouldn't finish downloading and I read here that "deleting" the voice memos App worked and it would trigger syncing with iCloud. It did help, but all my other 70 recordings on the phone are gone.

The voice note finished downloading, but it was only 1 hour of recordings. I deleted a 7 hour extremely important voice note.

Please help me.

So, here's what happened:

I deleted the voice memos app. Reinstalled. Only got the files that were pending "download" and stayed like that, now they're on my voice memos and can be actually listened to since they're no longer "downloading".

BUT, my most important recordings and one that is 6 hours long is just gone. It's disheartening to see my data being lost at this point. My phone is not backed up but on the iCloud settings it says voice memos IT IS supposed to be backed up.

Side note: I also used my Apple Watch and recorded 7 hours of a presentation that is extremely vital, it showed on my Apple Watch, but then it never transferred to my iPhone. Where's that recording? Is it lost? The Voice Memo App kept disappearing and appearing on the watch but the recording isn't there. I only got to play it one time and then poof it went up in smokes. I had Bluetooth and Airdrop on and I was hoping the file would show on my iPhone.

I had WatchOS9 then updated to the most recent version, and restarted the watch.

Please tell me there's something that can be done.

Any changes made to the content on devices that sync with iCloud, are synced across. So, deleting one file on one device will automatically delete this file from the other devices as well.

I guess, that's what happened to your voice memo after you have played it once.

Did you try to restore your watch from a backup made before you lost the voice memos?

I shouldn't get angry with people offering their help, but it gets annoying when all I hear is parroting of the same links, that are of absolutely no help, since I mentioned already the iPhone was NOT backed up. The voice memos are nowhere to be found both on the Watch and on the phone.

The deleted folder is nowhere to be found, it only comes up when I tried deleting a test memo.

I am so desperate I am even willing to pay for the recovery of this 6 hour recording.

I understand your frustration, but if you never backed up your iPhone, which then also contains the Apple Watch backup, I'm afraid, there is nothing that can bring your recordings back.

No matter which device you own, a computer, Mobile, Tablet or Smartwatch, these devices can fail or lose their data due to a mishap. Creating backups is more essential these days than ever.

If you go on your iPhone to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then turn on Voice Memos, all available voice memos should show up.

If at all, only the official Apple Support might have a solution, since they can look into your personal data from their side.
