After the update Apple Watch brightness won’t adjust

So after an update my brightness won’t adjust. It’s all the way up 24/7 at night I can’t stand how bright it is. I use it to track my sleep but I get a glimpse of the watch and it’s like looking into the sun after a sunrise. Any one know if this will be patched soon?

Did you try to force restart your watch by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:

1-3 ive had good support when ive called. The one time they told me to take it in to apple and when i did they wanted to charge me 600 for things i didnt need. Ended up taking it else where got the issue fixed for 200$ the watch on the other hand had a bad ambient light sensor. Works fine now.

Well it’s a good thing I’m not a professional swimmer or live near an ocean! If they could have done that at apple support I think they’d realize my phone didn’t need an antenna or a battery. Fortunately my phone only needed a new screen. Thankful that there’s trained techs out here that have understanding how much things costs.
