How can I manage my kid's accounts without a part of family plan?

Recently I left my ex's family plan to manage our kids accounts because there was no way to have separate cards to charge aps to.

I would still like to be able to manage my kids accounts but not be part of his family plan.

Is there a way to do this?

No, an account can only be part of one family group at a time and there can only be a single Organizer with their own payment methods.

You are not the first to be in this situation but I suspect that the requirements that enable Apple to offer Family Sharing are pretty rigid and do not allow Apple to make accommodations for this kind of situation. If you have a suggestion, send it to Apple: Product Feedback - Apple
