Trying to backup iPhone after upgrading OS, 18.2.1, SE, and am prompted to treat as reformat as new or back up to an older back up. Would like to avoid loosing any information . Which is best choice?

The term "Reformat" is not the text usually given by iOS backup either on iCloud or iTunes. Please post a screenshot.
