is iPhone 16 pro max compatible with sennheiser HD4.50 BTNC headphones? My iPhone does not seem to pick up signal from the headphones for pairing purposes.

Are they an older pair of headphones? Do you know what version of Bluetooth they use? Have you talked to Sennheiser? They had some headphones that required NFC to start the pairing. You might need to get the iPhone just an inch away from the NFC antenna to start the pairing.

Are the headphones in Discover mode, sometimes called pairing mode?
They are automatically in pairing mode when switched on.
They seem to be able to pair (and unpair) with other devices ok but not with my phone which doesn’t find them.
I have paired another set of headphones with my phone ok just now so it seems to be something particular to this particular pairing that doesn’t work.
