I have installed a Kyocera printer (M3540dn) on my 2014 Mac mini running OS 12.7.6. When I print from Word it does not print the document but lines of code instead. What can be the problem?

Do other apps on your Mac print correctly? If so, then I'd suggest contacting Microsoft support for assistance or asking in Microsoft's own forums.
