CarPlay Not Working on iOS 18.2.1

Hello,

Since updating my iPhone 16 Pro to iOS 18.2.1 earlier this week, CarPlay has become completely inoperable. The phone will connect to my 2017 Honda (wired or Bluetooth) and the car’s Bluetooth source will allow me to play audio, but CarPlay won’t launch at all. I tried resetting all CarPlay settings on my phone and removing all existing devices in the car’s settings, but nothing has worked. I suspect there’s a bug in this release that blocks CarPlay head units from being able to detect the phone being connected. Can you confirm if this is indeed the case, and if so, when we might see a patch to fix this?

Same issue, but my car is Chev. Traverse 2023, iPhone 13 with 18.2.1 update. I have gone through all the steps of deleting/forgetting devices both on phone and car, re-naming the phone as one person suggested, and starting the pair process again. (Oh, also turning off the car, opening and closing the door before starting pair process.) The whole process works, but almost instantly, the phone drops the connection to my car's system. I can send messages from the car, but cannot receive any on the car's audio system. To top it off, the phone's audible notification is silent now when in the car. Super frustrated.
