My iPad has bent, what can I do?

iPad with 1 month of use, my son was using it, he supported it on the leg without any force, the ipad twisted, we took it to the assistance and they said it would be bad use what can I do?

The iPad is new, my son supported it on his leg and bent, I already took it to the authorised one and they didn't change it

iPad's do not spontaneously bend - substantial force usually being required to twist, bend or otherwise deform the iPad's chassis.

Bending is most often associated with an iPad being left on soft furnishings - or amongst bedding - and is then unseen before being accidentally sat-upon.

Unless the iPad has an obvious technical defect, such as swollen battery, physical damage of this type is usually considered by Apple to be "accidental damage" - and is therefore not a warranty defect.

If you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan for the iPad, this does cover accidental damage - and a claim for repair/replacement is likely to be honoured. Being an insurance product, a claim against the AppleCare+ plan will incur a small deductible/excess fee.
