I'm having trouble verifying my Apple Cash Wallet on iPad

I am having trouble verifying my apple cash wallet and I have been trying for 4 months to verify my identity but every time I try and call for them to fix it they are no help whatsoever. They say they are unable to verify its me and I am sure I am putting the correct information because why would I enter the wrong information multiple times. It really is frustrating because the representative I was speaking to told me maybe I am entering the wrong information. Not only that every time I call and it does not work they give me the same response," try again in 30 days." It does not make sense to me why this is not working. The people I speak to really are no help.

You’re facing one of two possible scenarios. The first is you have no credit background and other ways banks verify individuals. Do you have a bank account, have a debit card, credit card, auto loan or any activity on your credit reports?

Do you have a state issued ID, drivers license? Are they current and not expired? Have you moved recently? Did you enter your name exactly as on your birth certificate? Did you copy your social security number right off your card or are you entering it from memory?

The second option is they had accurate information, positively identified you and there is something in your background or past transactions or behaviors that the bank doesn’t want you as a customer. Banks pull from public records, credit reports and other public information. If you have some things in your past, the bank is within their rights to refuse to open an account in your name.

Why is positive ID required?

The Patriot Act requires that lenders, banks etc obtain a confirmed ID.

“To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.”
