Siri and dictation not working on 2018 Intel Mac Mini + Studio Display

I have a 2018 Intel Mac Mini + Apple Studio display. My microphone/camera on the Studio Display work great for all applications (Zoom, Teams, etc) but I cannot get Siri to work. When I do try to enable "Hey Siri" I get a sad sound and no apparent voice recognition (e.g., the initial set up does not work). Yes, my mic is on and sound preferences correct. Likewise for apple dictation in all applications. If I bypass the Studio monitor via using an external mic connected directly to the Mac Mini I can get both to work. Is there a work around to get my Studio display to play nicely with the mac mini such that Siri/dictation will work?

FYI - I am running Sequoia 15.2 and know that Apple AI will not work.

Troubleshooting SIRI:

A. Reset the Core Audio:

With a new update install, things probably need to re-sync. So, restart the Mac. Once restarted, if that does not work, then, reset the Core Audio. It's worth a go.

To Reset the Core Audio:

Type the following command in Terminal:

sudo killall coreaudiod

No Success?

B. Boot in Safe Mode:

In Safe ModeLogin Items do not run at login, certain preferences are set aside, and damaged system files are then reset. So, once booted in to Safe Mode, wait 30 seconds, and then boot up normally, attempting this once more. For instructions, go here: How to Use safe Mode on your Mac - Apple Support

C. Try a New Admin User:

What happens when you create a new administrator user, and log into it? Do you still get this error? If not, then it is likely an error with the current user. If so, then it is likely an error with your Mac.

No Succes?...

D. Reinstall the macOS:

Go Here: How to Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple SupportImportant: Be certain to create a backup of your Mac prior to all of this. That way, you can have something to restore from the Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall. Once reinstalled, try this once more.
