ON THE HOUR I HEAR QUOTATIONS IN MY HEADPHONES, SUCH AS "FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, THEY KNOW THE WAY" AND "IF THINGS SEEM UNDER CONTROL, YOU ARE NOT GOING FAST ENOUGH"

I suspect some third-party app is doing that. Review the apps you have installed. Also, check under Settings>Notifications and see if you have anything set to "Announce."
It was set to "Allow notifications when the screen is locked" I have now turned this off and will see what happens - thank you
