And what is even more frustrating is that if I export the deck as PDF and I read it on the same Mac, I see no issue whatsoever. This means that I'm sharing a presentation that I have checked and I AM SURE that has not problems, but when somebody else will see it on another computer they wont see the labels!
I hope this gets fixed very soon, as I'm using it for work and the idea of sending around incomplete documents without knowing really is upsetting.

Same problem, and it's a very frustrating one as I'm often dealing with large decks with many charts and multiple rounds of number revisions. Until they fix it, the options (and their caveats) I've been using so far are:
Same Issue. Found this chat and ended up having to put in static text on a slide for a client presentation. Hope this is fixed soon.
I'm not entirely sure what the issue is, but here's a workaround: Press Command + Control + Shift + 4 to screenshot the charts, then paste the screenshots onto your presentation using Command + V. You can cover the charts with these screenshots and then export your Keynote to PDF. This should work if you don’t have too many charts in your slides.
Yes, Olivia Marsh, when I export as images the error does not occur, however, this makes the PDF inaccessible to screen readers.
This is probably a problem in this version of Keynote, as this same file worked normally in other versions.
Thanks for the tip. Let's wait to see if there is another possible fix
Did you report it?
The more people that report the problem, the higher visibility it gets at Apple, and the higher chance for a response.
