Ventura not compatible with MacBook Pro

Ventura is not compatible with my MacBook Pro, so does this mean my MacBook will never be updated again? already have apps looking for updates but require OS 13.0 or newer. I have no issues and don't want to upgrade but don't want outdated software.

You won't get newer macOS versions than what is supported, but Apple can sometimes provide security updates for older versions.


Mac that can’t run the three most recent versions can somewhat limit which apps are available and supported, though alternative apps can also be available.
