Why is Genmoji not working on my iPad Air?

I have an iPad Air 2024, it has the latest software update, but for some reason the Genmoji function does not work. I tried all the methods, but with each of them the Genmoji key appears for a moment, and before I can press it, it disappears. And so after each reboot.

First please take a look and see if you qualify for Apple Intelligence.

If you do qualify, this may be a software issue in which you should try a force reset procedure as shown below.


  • Press and quickly release the volume up button.
  • Press and quickly release the volume down button.
  • Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo
