How do I disable FaceTime on MacBook Pro to enhance security?

FaceTime is used by hacking software, such as Pegasus, to hack iPhones without any action by the user. I have removed it from my iPhone. I don't know if the same vulnerability exists in MacOS. However, Apple apparently does not allow its removal from a Mac, and a formerly available option to turn it off has been removed from FaceTime. I never use FaceTime and don't want to use it. What options do I have to remove it (preferably) or to disable all its functions. FaceTime is far too great a security risk to allow to run on any device.

How can you disagree with what I want? That is absurd. FaceTime is a known security risk, and Apple should not prevent me from removing a security risk from my MacBook. You can find this security risk documented in many places such as this one.
