My iPod 7th Gen is not syncing with Windows 11

Laptop: Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2

iPod: 7th Gen 256GB, update 15.8.3

My old 6th gen iPod started to fall apart, so i dug out a new 7th gen i picked up awhile back to take over.

Set them side by side plugged into usb's on the laptop and used the Quick Start feature to copy everything to the new ipod.

Worked fairly well, moved all music files perfectly, but sadly did not bring over about half the album art.

Then, next day, tried to add several new songs, but now te device will not sync and add these files no matter what i do. I have searched many how to sites and tried many "fixes" with no luck.
