Is it possible to restore an iPod without a password?

I have 2 iPods with identical info. I want to restore 1 back to factory settings. I do not have the P/W's, at least I cannot remember them. How do I reset one unit back to factory settings - if I can?

Which password / passcode don't you have for them exactly? iPod Touches have a screen unlock passcode and

an Apple ID password.

The screen unlock passcode is not required to restore them, but if you don't have the password for the Apple ID used on them, you will encounter Activation Lock after you restore them.
