iPad stuck in update after USB-C cable disconnected

I'm updating the Ipad through recovery mode and iTunes on Windows. The files have been downloaded and the Ipad starts updating, but I accidentally pulled the IPad too hard which disconnects the USB-C cable in the middle of the update. The iTunes app shows an error and the update process stopped. When I tried plugging it in again, it doesn't recognize my Ipad and there is no progress. I tried a force restart, but it doesn't work.

My Ipad is now still showing the update process after an hour. Do you have a solution for me? If I let the battery dies, what happened?

Ah, not good. The progress bar indicates that your iPad is part-way through actually installing the update. If interrupted, you might completely "brick" the iPad.

You would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from another Apple device using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

In disconnecting the USB-C cable while performing an update or system recovery from a connected computer, you run a very real risk of corruption - and potentially "bricking" the iPad.

What, explicitly, do you see on the iPad screen? Do you just see an Apple logo, the Apple logo with a progress bar beneath, or something else entirely?

If you can post a photo taken with another device, this may help determine the current state of the iPad.
