Apple Store app not working, needs iOS update

The Apple Store app requires iOS 17.0 or later, and the iPhone X can only update up to 16.7.10. So you cannot download that app.

If you are receiving a message that your iOS version is unsupported in the App Store, you will need to update to a newer iOS version:

Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

An iPhone X should be able to update to iOS 16.7.10 and then be able to use the App Store.
