I need to copy an iTunes in my library song before editing it

Command click or rick click the song in iTunes or the Music App, then click Copy, then right click again and choose paste to make a copy.
Alternatively you can click on Show in Finder if you want to directly duplicate the file outside of the iTunes or Apple Music app.
In addition to what Phil0124 said, be aware that music you obtain with an Apple Music subscription is copy protected.
