Cubase 14 crashing regularly when closing the application - Mac Studio

a segmentaion fault is a reference to RAM memory not owned by the process making the reference. It can happen with very badly crafted Applications, and is extremely rare in well-crafted and well supported commercial packages. You should ask the App developer for help.

The other, completely wonky reason for such a fault (or a cluster of seemingly un-related faults) is RAM memory errors. These tend to cause wildly different results after each Mac Restart, because the load point of certain key Mac system routines (and everything loaded after them) is slightly randomized as a hedge against fixed-address attacks. This moves the offending memory cell to a different address, where is can cause completely different havoc.

Although it tends to find only GROSS faults, it would be Prudent to run the Diagnostic from time-to-time. if it ever fails, do not erase your Mac without saving the results.
