External disk unreadable on Mac mini

I am using a Mac mini with os 15.2

The external disc I hav been using for a few months has become unreadable to my Mac. The message says to initialize it, Can I di this with out erasing the data. which U can';t replace

Unable to restore unindexed data on external hard drive with Apple Disk Utility The USB-C cable connecting my MacBook Pro to my Sandisk external hard drive spontaneously disconnected while I was rendering in Final Cut Pro. I tried using the Disk Repair setting without success. Should I try using Disk Warrior. It says that it is compatible with Ventura 13 for repairing external drives. As we are now at Ventura 13.4, am I correct in assuming there is no point in going down this route until Disk Warrior updates their software?

external disk does not show on side bar in macOS 13.3.1 Hi. I have a macOS Ventura 13.3.1 on my MacBook Pro M1 2021. none of my external drives do not appear on the desktop or on the finder's sidebar. Any hint on how to solve it?

No. Restore the data from a backup, or try using the Disk Utility's First Aid function or a non-Apple disk repair product on it.
