Screen Touch Issues On Latest iPhone

I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max a couple of months ago, and I've already tried two different tempered glass screen protectors, and both times, my screen is not as receptive to touch anymore, making it difficult and frustrating to type anything out anymore. After I took the first screen protector off, typing was super easy. This second one was recommended to me by an Apple employee and is highly rated, yet I'm having the same issue.

I used to have a glass screen protector on my previous iPhone (11 Pro Max) and loved it — I never had any issues with it.

Has anyone experienced this and know what's going on? Last thing I need is not to have a screen protector on and crack the screen or something.
