Missing Discover icon on iPad
How do I reinstate my discover icon? It is not showing on my screen

Assuming that you still have the app installed on the iPad, the following support article has sections for "Find and open an app in App Library" and then "Move an app from App Library to the Home Screen". Those are the steps that you need to follow to put the app back on your home screen.
