The app hasn’t worked on the iPad since iOS 18.2.1 update on 01/10/2025. All other apps working and internet and Wi-Fi also working. The app also works on my iPhone. I have deleted and reinstalled the app three times with no positive results.

So clearly Apple tried something as I was able to open the News app once today. It took forever to populate and then it crashed. And crashed again. And crashed again. This would be one thing if it was a third party app but it’s an Apple app.
I am having the same problem with two iPad (7th gen) since update to iOS 15.2.1. Apple News works in the iPhone only. The iPads and Apple News are up to date. After several attempts still unable to open Apple News.
Cancel subscription and ask for a refund!
