Unable to enable Game Center on iPad for child's Apple Account

Hi All

I recently bought an iPad gen 9 for my son. I’ve set up the device and he has an Apple ID created through the family feature (linked to my account).

for some reason, his iPad won’t let me enable Game Center from the settings menu. When I try to move the toggle across, it states that “not allowed to sign into Game Center on this device”.

I have successfully logged into his account on another device, so the problem is device based.

Any ideas on how I can turn on Game Center so, that I can log into his account.

Consider temporarily disabling any ScreenTime controls that may have been applied - then enable Game Centre. Once successfully signed-in to Game Centre, you can reapply the required ScreenTime controls.
