I have a 2017 iMac I need to replace. I'll be running Logic Pro in 2025 and slightly beyond, I hope. Please comment on which Mac I should purchase to connect to four external SSD drives. I have not been having luck with Multiple-port Adapters as currently only one drive per adapter works at a time. Thank you much, musical friends.

Will you be making your living using Logic Pro and do you work in the production industry? If Logic Pro is just for a hobby then a Mac Mini Pro with 48GB of RAM and a the size SSD that your needs call for should be fine. Otherwise buy a Mac Pro.
It’s more of a hobby than a full on business. But I do do a lot of professional horn arranging which can involve 4 or 5 audio tracks, a sampled bari and a handful of other midi instrument tracks from time to time. I am thinking your advice on a Mac Mini Pro sounds right. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
