how to stop homepod from playing apple music on its own

At random times one of my home pods will start playing apple music. I don't even have an apple music account.

HomePod mini automatically plays Apple Music one I have signed out and deleted Apple Music from all of my devices. Even though I never used Apple Music to begin with, I also turned off handoff from my iPhone and iPad. Whenever I tap my HomePod mini, it still automatically connects to Apple Music one and plays some terrible track that I would never listen to. I’ve reached out to technical support and they are clueless - I’ve been asked to reset the device four different times, questioned on what kind of charger I use, I’ve spent hours of my time for no resolution. Please, how can I get my HomePod to stop playing music from an app that I do not even have?

How to change default music library for HomePod When my HomePod plays, it (understandably) automatically chooses Apple Music Library, and then seems to prioritise music I have purchased from there I don't use my AML much, therefore I would like to: a) choose Spotify as the default music service, and/or b) change the settings in AML/HomePod so that it plays the CDs I have downloaded there, rather than the music I have purchased Am I able to change either of these settings? Thank you

HomePod not accessing Apple Music account Recently, my HomePod stopped accessing my Apple Music account to play music. Whenever I ask Siri to play a song, she says “…it’s not in my… library”. So, something changed with HomePod and my Apple ID which has an Apple Music subscription. I noticed in the HomePod settings, there is a section titled, “HOMEPOD ACCOUNT”. There is no account shown in this field. Should there be? And when I touch “Sign In”, nothing happens. Any guidance on re-establishing my HomePod’s connection to Apple Music appreciated. PS - I can access Apple Music same as always from my iPhone. And then I can transfer it to the HomePod to play. thanks!
