How do I get rid of scratches on my iPhones purchased from Canada?

I have bought Iphone 16 pro max and iphone 16 pro from canada.

And once I landed in India, the screen scratched in both the phones.

It is hardly 1.5 weeks I bought the phones. Please let me know what further I can do to fix my both the phones.

In addition to Katana-San’s comment, on a similar note, next time you should only purchase your iPhones where you reside. AppleCare+ and Warranty only apply to your region of purchase, so you will have to go back to where you purchased the iPhones for service. You may still be able to get service internationally, though the service centers are not obligated to honor the warranty. It will have to be at their discretion.

Hello~ Scratches on an IPhone screen are usually considered cosmetic damage. I think *Zachyy* has provided some excellent advice about applying a screen protector which will prevent damage from occurring to start with and stop further scratches from developing. Use the links they provided to contact Apple and see what your options may be or click on below…

Though perhaps you are within the 14 day return period …you would only be able to return the iPhones in Canada…not India. It’s one of the many problems you may run into having bought your iPhones in a different country than the one in which you reside.

Hello~ I personally would not recommend a liquid screen protector as applying it incorrectly could cause big issues especially for this user who bought their iPhones in Canada and now has them in India. Also …I happen to to agree with this prior post and the two senior members there…

I also forgot to mention that I did some research on the removal of these liquid screen protectors and the suggestions for removal are to use a hairdryer or leaving your iPhone in the sun for an hour…neither of which I would do nor recommend.

Liquid Screen Protectors & Apple Warranty - Apple Community

I couldn't agree with you MORE! If the phone is damaged in any way by applying a liquid screen protector, the iPhone warranty is worthless. I know there are people who have used liquid screen protectors, but they can't be removed, like a glass screen protector can be removed. And a glass screen protector will NEVER cause a warranty issue with an iPhone. Hence why Apple installs glass screen protectors in their stores every day all around the world. Apple most assuredly doesn't apply liquid screen protectors, that's for sure.

The best advice for the Author of this thread would be to install a good quality glass screen protector, which will likely hide any current scratches and prevent future scratches.

Damages iPhone Screen:

See if you can get AppleCare for this:

Having purchased is outside of your home country, I'm not so certain you can't. Nonetheless, you only have so long to get it. So, enter the Serial Number here: http://chackcoverage.apple.com

If AppleCare ends up being of no option, then

Try a Liquid Protector on the New Screen:

What I use: LiquidNano or Liquid Armor. It takes about 45 minutes to drive, and all it take is a few light rubs ---Poomph, its on there. And if you ever get a ding it's potentially a mm-deep crater on the liquid, and is nothing a dangerous crack on the screen. I got mine at a retailer, and they put it on. Works like a charm.
