Why Can’t I Use My Password to Change Parental Controls?

I’m a parent/guardian in my family, but I’m unable to use my password to adjust parental controls for my kids.

Why does it require the family organizer’s account for this? As a parent/guardian, shouldn’t I have access to make these changes?
