iPhone 18.2.1: No Ring tone in Airpods when receiving a call.

Prior to this update, when I listen to a podcast on my airpods pros, my phone app would silence the podcast and sound my designated ringtone so that I could answer the phone.

Now when a call comes in my podcast simply goes silent. There is no ring tone. Then after a few moments I can hear Siri, ever so faintly, like she's 100 miles away, announcing a caller.

Everything works just fine when I'm not listening to a podcast. How do I fix this?

When a call is coming in, and the Airpods are in my ears, there is no ring tone in the Airpods. I tried them on two different iphones. Same result. I have powered down both phones and reset the Airpods. Ringer volume is set to half way. Phone will vibrate when the call comes in.

Ring tone blasting my ears while making calls on AirPods Pro on iPhone 14 since iOS16 update When I make calls, the ring tone (i.e., the tone that we all hear when making a call that tells us that the phone is ringing on the other end) is extremely loud. I turn down my volume to adjust, but then when the call connects, I can barely hear anyone and need to turn the volume back up. Plus it's killing my ears. Anybody else experiencing this? Any way to fix this?

Call announcement very loud on AirPods I have recently updated to IOS 16.2 on my IPhone 11. Since this time when Siri announces my calls it is VERY LOUD. I have looked up options on how to reduce this volume like changing the tone volume within the AirPod settings this did nothing. My ringer is already very low so that doesn't do any good. Telling Siri to speak quieter only makes my media volume lower and it is already nearly as low as it gets. I have sensitive hearing and this is extremely frustrating. How can I get my call announcement ONLY volume to be lower?????
