Does AppleCare+ cover stolen devices?

I was wondering if apple care thief and lost still work if the thief force me to factory reset the device after as in the apple care teams and conditions it says that find my device still needs to be on.

That’s correct. Find My must be on, otherwise it’s a mysterious disappearance, which is not covered.

No, Find My must still be turned on.
