GarageBand Pitch Bend

Hi, I am trying to make a part that sounds like glissando on garageband and it only lets me pitch bend up to 64. I want to smoothly bend the pitch over an octave. Can I get my pitch bend higher than 64 or can I use other methods?

GarageBand recording audio cuts out above certain decibel When recording audio on Garageband, it doesn't record audio above a certain decibel. I've tried resetting controls and I can record audio through the same equipment for other apps with no issues. It's just an issue on GarageBand. I don't know how to fix this. When I record vocals, only high pitched notes get cut out When I record a vocal track on Garageband, it records fine unless I sing a high pitched note. I can see on the actual waves that it stops recording only those notes. I have isolated the issue to just GarageBand, and reinstalling it hasn't helped! This is ever since I did a Mac OS update. Please help!
