iPhone - disappearing text messages received in lockscreen

Hi all,

There seems to be an ongoing issue with iOS.

When my iPhone is off, and hasn't been unlocked, if I receive a text message from a non-imessage address (green text message) it will show up as a notification in the Lock Screen. When I input my password for the first time and iOS opens, the message notification disappears and the message is nowhere to be found.

Judging by my internet searching, this is an ongoing issue that hasn't been fixed and I was hoping some people have shared the same experience that I have.
