iPhone mirroring appears dark and blurry on Mac mini M4

I have an iPhone Pro Max 15 with latest firmware and just bought a M4 Mac mini. Started using iPhone mirroring and all was good. Then today the mirroring shows up as black wallpaper and words are blurry.
