How Get Search Results to Open Directly in Contacts

In past years, when searching for, say, a name/telephone, it would open the results directly in Contacts. Now, search results that exist as a contact, open in an annoying cluttered screen with previous calls etc. and lacks all the information that is included in the contact (e.g. the almost always important content of "Notes").

How do I make a search result just open the contact, like it previously did, give me everything available in the contact, and avoid all the extraneous unwanted stuff like previous calls etc.?

It is easy enough to touch "Open in Contacts". However, this is an unnecessary extra step and why use only one action when two, three, or more will do?

Spotlight Search on iOS has never directly opened the Contacts app for a selected contact unless explicitly designed to. Instead, it serves as a comprehensive search tool, showing results from multiple sources such as Messages, Mail, Notes, Files, and even web suggestions if enabled.

When a contact's name is searched, Spotlight displays actions like calling, messaging, or emailing the person directly within the search interface. If you want to view the full contact details in the Contacts app, you must tap the contact name in the search results, which redirects you to their profile in the Contacts app.

This design provides a quick-action approach rather than defaulting to app-specific navigation.
