How can I fix my Mac Pro 2019 mouse and keyboard issues?

Mac Pro 2019 startsup but mouse, keyboard are not functioning. Plus the setup screen displays briefly only to be replaced with 'digital snow'. Any solutions?

After restart, the computer booted up with Apple Logo and progress bar showing to full extent, however it is now stuck on the login page. iMac screen goes black randomly when mouse moved right. I have a 2019 iMac 27". Every now and again when I move the mouse the screen just goes black. Randomly but frequently, normally when I knock the mouse with my arm and it moves right, although attempts to simulate it have failed so the best i can say is "sometimes when I accidentally move the mouse the screen goes black", press "enter"on the keyboard and things come back. Interestingly, while the screen is blank, typing in the keyboard has no effect. It's exceedingly annoying when you're right in the middle of something important, like this post!! Does anyone have any idea? I have tried googling this but I just find lots of threads about mac screens going black and waking up with a wiggle of the mouse. Keyboard and trackpad not active when OS is loaded. Hi everybody, After two days of testing and searching the internet, I have not yet been able to find a cause. The situation: the keyboard and trackpad stopped working overnight. When booting in a different mode - if the OS has not yet loaded - both work. Finally did a clean install, but that doesn't help either. Just discovered EtreCheckPro and, with full disk access, did a check. There are no malfunctions. Who can clarify: is it a hardware problem, for example the motherboard? Or is it a software problem, for example a driver not loading? And above all of course: how do I get the Macbook working again? (Without the Bluetooth devices I'm using right now.) Greetings and thanks in advance! Dees

Hi,

What happen if you start up in Safe Mode? If it doesn't fully boot up, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports hardware error.

Many thanks for your replies.

I’m as certain as I can be but I’ve narrowed the fault down to a loose fitting HDMI cable in the rear of the MacPro 2019. I think maybe the socket itself has become a little enlarged with use.

Im currently transferring close to 4 TBs of Photos from an HDD to an NVME. Should have left this to run over night, it will take over four hours to complete!

"digital snow' is very rare when you have a WORKING graphics card.
