MacBook Pro M2 not detecting Acer monitor via Satechi adapter
I had a 5-year-old Acer monitor & tried to use it with my 2022 MacBook Pro. Didn't work. I bought a new Acer monitor, the salesman assured me it would be compatible. But I have connected the HDMI cable to monitor & to Satechi adapter plugged into MacBook via USB3 - and it does not detect the monitor. The HDMI end configuration doesn't really match the Satechi port and doesn't fit all the way in. Is this ever going to work or do I have to try a different monitor?
