Compatible printer for MacBook Pro 2015

I need a new printer for my 2015 MacBook Pro but have zero idea what is compatible. I only need it to print out occasional documents. Not anything fancy. I am not that computer savvy. I know how to use them but know nothing about the internal workings. If anyone could please let me know if there is a printer out there that I could use with my Mac, I will be very grateful. I get so overwhelmed with electronics.
